About Sound Horizons
Sound Horizons was founded in response to the growing need for accessible support for individuals with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) in the UK. Many people with APD struggle to find places for proper assessment and treatment, and this lack of resources inspired the creation of Sound Horizons.

Our founder, Nadia Abbott, established Sound Horizons out of a deep passion for raising awareness and improving understanding of APD. She is dedicated to informing professionals so they can confidently identify and refer individuals for assessment, and to educating the public so that those affected by APD no longer feel isolated or misunderstood.

At Sound Horizons, our mission is to bridge the gap in APD services by providing expert assessments, tailored auditory training, and a compassionate approach that helps each individual reach their full listening potential.
